Royal & Awesome, the eye-catching Scottish golf clothing brand, has launched its new range of designs for the 2014 season – all inspired and named by fans of the range.
Following a series of social-media competitions involving more than 2,000 entries, the team behind Scotland’s most talked-about styles whittled down the best designs and names and have now released the dazzling designs to retailers for pre-order.
The Plaid a Blinder design is an extension to the popular existing range of tartans on offer, while the Diamonds in the Rough is inspired by the brand’s most popular ‘Old Tom’ trews. Paddy Par!, which features a shamrock-based design, is also expected to be a popular choice, particularly on the Emerald Isle.
All of the designs are available in men’s trousers, shorts and plus twos, and a women’s range – and all with matching caps to complete the awesome outfit.
Available to buy online and in-store from March 16, the new range is likely to be seen in significant numbers on golf courses across the UK thanks to a range of marketing partnerships scheduled with national charities, retailers, event organisers and tour operators.
Royal & Awesome’s brand director, Graeme Smeaton, said: “After an awesome year for the brand in 2013 we are delighted to be launching three new designs to freshen up golf wardrobes across the globe.
“Royal & Awesome is the perfect accompaniment to that special round of golf – charity golf day, corporate jolly or golf holiday – and we are thrilled to produce three new designs that our fans will want to be seen in, on and off the fairways.”
Royal & Awesome’s range of eye-catching golf trousers, shorts, skorts and hats are ‘perfect for the pars and the bars’ and are complemented by a range of men’s and women’s shirts, socks and belts.
